DIVA supports Advertisements including pre-roll, mid-roll, and Digital Ad Insertion (DAI). Keep in mind that the DAI functionality works only for live videos.

DIVA requirements

Enable pre-roll and mid-roll Advertisements passing the videoMetadata ad parameter to the DIVA player. The requirements differ when enabling DAI functionality, see below for more information:

• videoMetadata ad: Used only to configure pre-roll and mid-roll Advertisements
• VideoSource: Used to configure DAI functionality using the daiType property

note

If daiType is configured to googleLive, the ID of the VideoSource uri needs passing on to the DIVA player.
DAI functionality is then manageable.
